I'm pissed off!

What is so important to me to thank people - especially those who are very closed to me - for gifting me.

I believe in expressing a wholehearted sign of happiness and cheer on my face which can reward them ten times value of the item they've gifted to me.

Only after that I look at the usability of the gift.

I seldom get to see this happiness nowadays. I've been looked as a dirty rich.

Hence I may stop this bloody gifting habit very soon!

To become Steve: Lesson 3

"We all can organize a family get together function. But for the success of this event, it has to be run by our family members."

Involving our family members for any major event is very important to its success and also for receiving the pride of being a good leader. We often believe that everything is on our shoulders and there isn't anyone to share these struggles. Agree that we all thrive for perfection, but remember we have better people for specific duties than us before we run a one-man-show. What we need an excellent leadership quality and let others to make the event memorable ever before.

If we lack this, we will end-up with disconnected family members and their under-utilized skill sets.

Steve didn't made iPod alone, but with people.

To become Steve: Lesson 2

"Do not be self centric, be customer centric."

Most times we need to spend time with non-like minded people around us. Their preferences and choices might differ from us. As we all wanted to be clean looking, we tend to avoid/stay away from those.

Remember, like you there are only one person. That is no one else, but you alone. Hence staying away from people may turn you good looking, but will certainly disconnect you.

Hence, open your hearts and accept people. Take my word, you will certainly find at least one good quality in each one you meet. Adopt and practice it.

Disconnected

"One of the biggest pain in life is being disconnected from a connected world."

I've got disconnected recently. I don't know what my friends do nowadays.
Am I good for nothing, or am I too good anything?
I don't know.

Anyway I've decided not to put my heart into it, and just float without any directions.
I really wish to cruise, but how?

Folks, the doctor is slowly getting admitted. Can anyone suggest medicine?

Benevolent Benefactor

You know how Steve Jobs celebrated his return to Apple?
Oh, come on yaar... even a kid can answer this now. - with that great FOUR letter, iPod.

You know how was he able do it?
His colleagues says: "Steve is our benevolent benefactor"

Don't wish you to be one like Steve? At least I wish and want to become one like him in future. But how?

The first lesson: Just bury your ego!

(Lessons will continue...)

Cultural Marketing

Stay away from Western Marketers.

We do product/services marketing whereas Western guys do "Cultural Marketing".
Remember we (India) produced many 'Misses' for the last 1 decade. Oh...sorry, it was not produced by us, but by "Revlon" and "L'Oreal"

As a Marketer, I admire this style of Marketing. But as an Indian, I'm afraid that I will ever be able to bring up my children as INDIANS!
