the simplicity of story telling

Garr Reynolds is an inspiring writer. He helped me a lot prepare many presentations for my company. Most of them turned out to be good and productive for business.

But...

Recently, I happened to accompany one of my colleague for a presentation. You wouldn't believe that he was preparing the last slide of his presentation (One of the most important presentation in the history of my company) during our journey to the customer place in our partner's car. It was not really based on the theories of Reynolds, but a simple "bulleted" presentation.

Yet, he clinched the deal!

Henceforth my presentations will have "the simplicity of story telling" supported well with "better aesthetics".

Retorts: Patrick Murray

"I've had bad luck with both my wives. The first one left me, and the second one didn't."
-- Patrick Murray

Hilarious, but thought-provoking too!

People think that I have the most irritating and troublesome spouse. Many will try to get rid of the current, but eventually end up getting caught with another awful one!

The previous retorts from Sigmund Freud and Socrates are here and here respectively.

Retorts: Sigmund Freud

I admire Sigmund Freud.

He has interpreted dreams of most people, but not mine so far. Let me also join him to ask this!

"The great question, which I have not been able to answer... is, "What does a woman want?"
-- Sigmund Freud

I my version, I may ask "What does a wife want" instead of "a woman"

Goggly's "Googly"

This Googly from Goggly is worth reading.

The story reveals how US became the most important economy of the world albeit their annual trade deficit of over$400 billion.

I know.... you guys are awaiting for my next retort. Folks, that would be once a day. Between, enjoy reading this nice blog post written by Goggly.

Savings is Sin , Spending is Virtue

Unveiling Retorts

You all must be remembering my first post in this Blog.
Yeah, This Blog is a the immediate result of my marriage and my wife.

I think it is quite true what Socrates said. At least, it is true in my case!
Albeit it is funny and hilarious, thought provoking too. Hence I'm starting a new series Blog posts through retorts from "eminents" worldwide. These are aimed at firstly to satisfy myself, and then those of you who second these retorts.

Let me begin with Socrates as he once said:

"By all means marry. If you get a good wife, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher..."

Note: I thank my brother - Pramod - to make this series happen.
